We are such stuff as dreams are made on, and our little life is rounded with a sleep.

I believe funerals are an opportunity to celebrate a life well lived and by choosing an independent celebrant you can have a truly personal send off for your loved one.

Did you know that there is nothing official that must be said at a funeral?! Pretty much anything goes! This is an incredible opportunity but can also be a daunting prospect. I will work with you to create a fitting tribute. We can tell their story, play their favourite music, hear tributes from friends and family, perhaps share photos or relay their passion for their hobbies.

Whether you want a small intimate farewell or a party to celebrate their life, I will do everything I can to help you create a unique ceremony in their honour.

Yes! If you aren’t local or aren’t available to meet in person we can use Zoom or telephone calls to meet and email and phone to communicate. I am also happy to travel (within reason and at a small additional cost) for the ceremony.

Yes! I highly recommend Clandon Wood Natural Burial site. Their venue is so beautiful and such a peaceful place to visit, so much so my husband is buried there and I have a plot waiting for me too!

Yes, you can have whatever you like in your ceremony. We can discuss all the elements you wish to include as part of our planning meeting.

My fees for creating and leading a unique funeral ceremony start at £250.

This includes one meeting with the bereaved to discuss your requirements for the funeral, creating a 30 minute funeral ceremony, a first draft for review, final draft and leading the ceremony.

It also includes travel within 20 miles of my base in Surrey.

Extra meetings, travel further afield will be in addition to the above fee and will all be agreed upon in advance.

Yes! Funerals are not the only way to celebrate a life. If you have a different kind of ceremony in mind please get in touch and we can discuss your ideas.
