Congratulations! I cannot wait to hear the proposal story and find out what colours you’re thinking of but DO NOT tell me what you’re wearing! I’m not very traditional but there are some things that should remain top secret until the big day!
You probably already have loads of ideas about venue, style, guest lists etc. My job is to help write you a ceremony and vows that will tell your love story.
If you chose to have an independent celebrant conduct your wedding you are not restricted to licensed venues, so you can pretty much get hitched wherever you like! You can include whatever music, readings, religious or spiritual elements. Get in touch and we can discuss your options and start creating a ceremony that compliments the start of your journey as a married couple.

We don't live in Surrey and/or our celebration is not in Surrey, can you still be our celebrant?
Yes! If you aren’t local or aren’t available to meet in person we can use Zoom or telephone calls to meet and email and phone to communicate. I am also happy to travel (within reason and at a small additional cost) for the ceremony.

Can we include hymns, prayers and religious elements?
Yes, you can have whatever you like in your ceremony. We can discuss all the elements you wish to include as part of our planning meeting.
Can you do the legal bit?
Unfortunately, not! In the UK you have to use a registrar, although we do hope that this will change in the future.
For now, you can get the legal bit formalised before or after the actual wedding day at your local registry office (this only needs to be the two of you and your witnesses), or include a registrar within your ceremony, but they will need to be engaged separately.
How much are your fees?
My fees for creating and leading a wedding ceremony start from £650.
This includes, after our first chat, a planning meeting with the couple, creation of a unique personalised wedding service, a first draft of the service for review, a final draft, leading the service on the day and a presentation pdf of your ceremony and vows.
It also includes travel within 20 miles of my base in Surrey.
Extra meetings, travel further afield and any rehearsals will be in addition to the above fee and will all be agreed upon in advance.
